18TH ANNUAL KIDS GONE FISHIN’ SEPT. 28 AT BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center in Brenham will soon play host to a fishing experience like none other.
The 18th Annual Kids Gone Fishin’ on Saturday, September 28th will dump hundreds of pounds of catfish into the Aquatic Center leisure pool, letting young anglers learn about fishing and the outdoors.
The free event begins at 8:30 a.m. The competition portion of the event is for ages 2-17. Plaques will be awarded to the top catchers.
In addition to the fishing, there will be a free swim indoors with inflatables, visits with local first responders, safety demonstrations, arts and crafts, face painting, and the opportunity to earn scout merit badges.
