BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

A Brenham man was arrested Monday after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report than Monday night at 8:30, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop on an individual riding a bicycle for a traffic infraction. Investigation revealed that the individual, later identified as Jose Jaime Perez Prieto, 42 of Brenham, provided a false date of birth and showed an active warrant out of Brenham. Prieto was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked on his active warrant and for Failure to ID.
