TWO ACCIDENT CALLS MONDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of accidents on Monday.

Just before 7:45 a.m., firefighters went out to a crash at West Blue Bell Road and Republic Street.  They made location to find fluids leaking from a vehicle.  Units provided traffic control at the scene until wreckers could remove the vehicle from the roadway.  Once the roadway was cleared, units returned to service.

Shortly after 10:15 a.m., BFD personnel were dispatched to a crash at Highway 290 and South Chappell Hill Street.  No fluids were leaking from the vehicle when they arrived, and they proceeded to provide traffic control until wreckers came out and removed the vehicle from the roadway.
