TASK FORCE INVESTIGATION LEADS TO TWO DRUG ARRESTS IN SEALY
Two people face drug charges in Austin County after a narcotics investigation by the Westside Narcotics Task Force.
According to the Austin County Sheriff’s Office, the Austin County Regional Special Response Team executed search and arrest warrants on Tuesday as a result of an investigation into narcotics being distributed from a home in the 1200 block of Atchison Street in Sealy.
Sheriff’s Office K9 “Knox” was deployed to assist with the search of the residence, resulting in the location and seizure of methamphetamine.

Two suspects, 44-year-old Jeremy Skaggs and 39-year-old Sherri Bustos, were arrested at the scene and booked at the Austin County Jail without incident. They are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug-Free Zone, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
The Sealy Police Department assigned patrol units to aid in the operation.
