BURTON GETS PAST WEIMAR IN FIVE SETS

The Burton Lady Panthers won a hard fought match over Weimar on Friday night 3-2 in their final match before the start of district play.

Burton won the first set 25-21, Weimar won the second set 25-22, Burton won the third set 25-19, Weimar won the fourth set 26-24, and then Burton took the final set 16-14.

Madalyn Henry: 13 kills, 17 digs

Reagan Roemer: 21 digs

Paige Fritsch: 19 assists

Bailey Glaesmann: 9 kills

Adison Harmel: 31 assists

Kinsey Lunbeck: 11 kills

Lexi Broesche: 16 digs

The win improves Burton to 22-14 on the season. The Lady Panthers will open up district play tomorrow (Tuesday) against Mumford at Burton High School. The JV begin things at 5pm, followed by the Varsity afterwards.
