FOUR ARRESTED FRIDAY ON CHARGES INCLUDING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY POSSESSION, ASSAULT
Four people were arrested Friday, charged with various counts including possession of child pornography and assault.
Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 7:50, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 300 block of West Alamo Street. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver identified as Christopher Teague, 38 of Brenham, showed to have eight active warrants issued out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court. Teague was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
Then Friday afternoon at 1:00, Detective Andrea Guerra arrived at business located in the 2100 block of South Market Street in reference to a warrant service. Derek Paul Klehm, 27 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Additional evidence was collected and Klehm was transported to the Washington County Jail, booked in without incident.
Then Friday afternoon at 5:40, Officers responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance at the 300 Block of West Chauncy Street. Initial investigation revealed that the suspect, Gloria Lisa Vega, 30 of Brenham, assaulted a family member. Vega was placed in custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Friday evening at 7:10, Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Main Street for a report of a crash without entrapment. Angela Casas, 25 of Brenham, had signs of intoxication and during investigation failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Casas was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.
