HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL TO CELEBRATE HOMECOMING THIS WEEK
Hempstead High School is celebrating Homecoming this week. The festivities include the annual Homecoming Parade tomorrow (Wednesday) night, and conclude with the Homecoming Football Game on Friday night.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 6pm, and run from Hempstead High School to the Downtown Gazebo. The parade has a Mardi Gras theme.
This year’s Hempstead Homecoming Royalty includes Senior Queen Candidates Amiyah Momon, Paola Carrillo, Arianna Salazar, and Jennifer Arias.
Meanwhile, the Senior King Candidates are Colin Mayes, Eric Ramirez, Terrance Johnson, and Imanol Garfias.
The rest of the Royal Court includes Freshman Lord Adrian Benitez, Freshman Lady Alexandra Jimenez Vasquez, Sophomore Duke Anthony Melchor, Sophomore Duchess Kenadie Anderson, Junior Prince Alonso Coronado, and Junior Princess Marissa Apodaca.
The Queen and King will be crowned during the Homecoming game between the Hempstead Bobcats and the Thrall Tigers on Friday beginning at 7pm.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students.
