CUBETTES BEAT RUDDER 3-1 IN DISTRICT MATCH

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team picked up a big district victory over Bryan Rudder 3-1 last (Tuesday) night.

Brenham won the first set 25-19, Rudder won the second set 25-19, Brenham then won the last two sets 25-20 and 25-12.

Aubrey Morrison recorded another double-double with 18 kills and 18 digs. Antyiahna Lang had 11 kills and four blocks. Brinley Benson dished out 24 assists.

Claire Huff added 16 assists and 10 aces. Logan Hayslip led the defense with 21 digs, followed by Zoe Zwerneman, who chipped in with 18 digs.

The win improves Brenham to 23-17 overall, and 2-3 in district.

Next up, the Cubettes will wrap up the first half of district play on the road this Friday night at Lake Creek.
