CUBETTES END FIRST HALF OF DISTRICT WITH LOSS TO LAKE CREEK

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team ended up the first half of district play with a 3-1 loss to the Lake Creek Lady Lions.

Lake Creek won the first set 25-8 and the second set 25-13. The Cubettes took the third set 25-23, However, Lake Creek won the fourth set 25-20.

Brenham will now get ready to face College Station in the start of the second half of district play on Tuesday night.

That evening is also "Dig Pink Night." It is their annual fundraiser for the Side Out Foundation, which goes to breast cancer awareness, research, and treatment.

The opening tipoff is scheduled for 6pm, with a 5:45pm pregame on KWHI. Dan Jurden and I will have the call of the action.
