LIMITED NUMBER OF VEGETABLE PLANTS STILL AVAILABLE AT WASHINGTON CO. EXTENSION FALL PLANT SALE
The Washington County Extension Horticulture Committee has extra garden plants available for its Fall Plant Sale.
A variety of cool season plants like arugula, bok choy, cauliflower, kale, lettuce, spinach and swiss chard will be sold from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Washington County Expo Commercial Exhibit Building.
All plants are sold as four-packs for $2.50 each. Plants will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the Horticulture Committee’s Scholarship Program, supporting local graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree in agriculture.
Guests can enter the Expo facility off of Blue Bell Road and exit onto Old Independence Road.
