SHANE HANCHEY INVITATIONAL OCT. 20 AT LCSP ARENA IN GIDDINGS
The Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena in Giddings will host a well-known calf roping event next weekend.
The annual Shane Hanchey Invitational, presented by Cinch Jeans & Shirts, will be held on Sunday, October 20th.
Gates open at 12:30 p.m., with introductions at 1:30 p.m. and the roping events starting at 2 p.m.
The invitational will feature open tie-down roping, where 50 of the nation’s top calf ropers will compete for prize money. There will also be youth roping.
Spectator admission is $10 at the gate.
