VOTING IN SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA ENDS THURSDAY

  

Voting concludes tomorrow (Thursday) in Main Street Brenham’s 21^st Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza.

The public has the opportunity to vote in several categories and choose which of the 20 entries are their favorite.  Over $1,400 in cash prizes will go to the winning scarecrows.

Prizes include:

• Best Overall for $300, sponsored by Hermann Furniture.
• Most Votes for $200, sponsored by Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance.
• Judges Choice for $200, sponsored by KTEX/KWHI.
• Best Fall Theme for $125, sponsored by The Pomegranate.
• Most Creative for $125, sponsored by The Laundry Event Hall.
• Most Educational for $125, sponsored by Kay Robbins Remax.
• Silliest for $125, sponsored by Jet Set Chocolates.
• Cutest for $125, sponsored by Old 300 Title Brenham.
• Honorable Mention for $100, sponsored by Ant Street Inn.

Ballots are available at sponsoring locations and the Visitor Center.  The winners will be revealed on Tuesday, October 29^th.
