JUST UNDER 6,000 EARLY VOTERS THROUGH FOUR DAYS

  

Early voting in Washington County took a dip on Thursday but still maintains a strong pace.

Elections Administrator Carol Jackson says 1,400 people cast ballots on Thursday, down from Wednesday’s high mark of 1,554.

The turnout through four days of early voting is 5,988.

The Washington County Courthouse Annex is open today (Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will have weekend hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.  The annex will also be open all of next week, October 28th through November 1st, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th
