BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING TO CONSIDER RESIDENTIAL REPLATS

Four residential replat requests will be considered by the Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday.

The first item comes from Iglesia Bautista Fuente de Vida, who is seeking to subdivide a 1.462-acre lot addressed as 307 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway into four lots for single-family residential development.  The property currently consists of a single-family home and vacant land.

Next is a request from David and Wanda Hermann pertaining to a 0.257-acre lot addressed as 500 and 502 West Third Street.  The property owners want to divide the tract so that each of the two-single family homes are located on their own separate lot, to allow for possible sale and site improvements.

After that will be an item concerning a 1.372-acre lot and reserve tract at 1310 Bridge Street.  The property owners, Joshua Lowry and Monica Mazoch, wish to replat the vacant properties back into one tract, after the previous owner replatted them into two, to provide additional area for construction of a single-family residence.

The final request is from Miguel Lino Lara, who is looking to subdivide a 1.037-acre lot addressed as 806 Matchett Street, consisting of a single-family home and vacant land, for future development.

City staff recommends approval of all four requests.

The Commission will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
