BRENHAM CUB BAND ADVANCES TO AREA FINALS BUT FALLS SHY OF STATE; GLOW SHOW MONDAY AT CUB STADIUM
The Brenham Cub Band put on a strong showing at the area UIL competition, but fell just short of punching a ticket to state.

At Ray Maddry Stadium in Channelview, the band secured an appearance in the finals after its first performance, making the cut out of the 30 that qualified for the area.
After the final round, the Cub Band placed seventh overall, finishing one spot outside the six that advance from area to state.
Tonight (Monday) is the band’s Glow Show at Cub Stadium, where it will put on a glow in the dark performance. The band will begin after tonight’s junior high football, not before 8 p.m.
