BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING APPROVES RESIDENTIAL REPLATS
The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission gave unanimous approval on Monday to four residential replat requests.
The first item came from Iglesia Bautista Fuente de Vida, who wished to subdivide a 1.462-acre lot addressed as 307 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway into four lots for single-family residential development. The property currently contains a single-family home and vacant land.
After that came a request from David and Wanda Hermann for a 0.257-acre lot addressed as 500 and 502 West Third Street. The property owners were looking to divide the tract so that each of the two-single family homes are located on their own separate lot, to allow for possible sale and site improvements.
Next was a request from Joshua Lowry and Monica Mazoch pertaining to a 1.372-acre lot and reserve tract at 1310 Bridge Street. The property owners wanted to replat the vacant properties back into one tract, after the previous owner replatted them into two, to provide additional area for construction of a single-family residence.
The final request was presented by Miguel Lino Lara, who sought to subdivide a 1.037-acre lot addressed as 806 Matchett Street, made up of a single-family home and vacant land, for future development.
