BRENHAM DEFEATS BURTON 67-31 IN NON-DISTRICT GAME

The Brenham Cubette Basketball Team picked up a 67-31 victory over the Burton Lady Panthers last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.

Antyiahna Lang led Brenham with 17 points and nine rebounds. Carmen McWilliams finished with 12 points and seven rebounds. Janiyah Whitley added 12 points and five rebounds.

Val Hernandez was the top scorer for Burton with nine points. Lexi Broesche was second with seven points.

Next up, for the Cubettes, they will be at the Cornerstone Christian Schools Tournament in San Antonio starting tomorrow (Thursday). They are scheduled to play Canyon Lake at 1:30pm, followed by Incarnate Word at 4:30pm.

Meanwhile, the Lady Panthers are going to be competing in the Caldwell Tournament starting tomorrow (Thursday). They are scheduled to play Rockdale at 9am, followed by Somerville at 2pm.
