BRENHAM VFW TO HOST PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE PROGRAM SATURDAY

  

James F. Dillon VFW Post 7104 in Brenham will observe the anniversary of Pearl Harbor with a remembrance program on Saturday.

The program will be held at the VFW Post, 1200 East Tom Green Street, beginning at 7:55 a.m.

Flags will be symbolically lowered to half-staff at the time in Hawaii when the first bomb fell on Pearl Harbor in 1941.  The attack by Japan killed 2,403 Americans and prompted the United States to enter World War II. 

The public is invited to attend the program.  Anyone interested in attending should plan to arrive by 7:45 a.m.
