TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested Thursday on multiple charges.

Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 11:30, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1500 block of Highway 290 East. Police say their investigation revealed that illegal activity was occurring, but the nature of the activity was not disclosed. Police also determined both the driver and passenger had active warrants. The driver, Douglas Carlton, 56 of Oklahoma, was taken into custody for Failure to ID, Fugitive from Justice, Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info, and an active parole warrant out of Tennessee. The passenger, Brandy Savers, 48 of Tennessee, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and an active parole warrant out of Tennessee.
