ONE CALL TUESDAY, ONE EARLY WEDNESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department responded to one call on Tuesday and another early this (Wednesday) morning.

At 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm at a dorm complex in the 800 block of West Third Street.  Units arrived to find nothing showing from the exterior.  They learned the alarm system had been reset prior to their arrival, so they cleared the scene.

Around 3:15 a.m. today, the department was called out to a fuel spill in the 1500 block of FM 389.  Personnel made location to find a small amount of fuel on the ground next to a fuel pump.  They cleaned up the fuel spill and returned to service.
