SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO ARREST OF BRENHAM MAN ON DRUG CHARGES

Brenham police performed a warrant operation on Monday, leading to the arrest of a local man on drug charges.
Just past 7 a.m., the Brenham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Unit conducted a residential search warrant in the 2400 block of Airline Drive.
Investigators searched the residence and reportedly located illegal narcotics.
17-year-old Pedro Burgos-Abonza of Brenham was charged with two second degree felony counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 grams. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
