THREE CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Tuesday.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 2600 block of Highway 36 South for a transportation incident. They arrived on location to find a two-vehicle accident. Both vehicles were in the roadway, but there were no injuries or fluids leaking. Once the vehicles were moved, units returned to service.
Another transportation incident was reported around 3:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Market Street. However, the department could not find a wreck in the area, so firefighters cleared the call.
Just before 9:45 p.m., BFD members went out to a home in the 700 block of South Day Street for a fire alarm sounding. Nothing was showing from the exterior of the home, and the homeowner told firefighters it was a false alarm.
