SHAWN PARKS NAMED 2024 BELLVILLE LIONS CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
The Bellville Lions Club has named its 2024 Citizen of the Year.

Shawn Parks was presented the award at the club’s annual Christmas Party on December 19th.
Lions Club President Dr. Michael Coopersmith recognized Parks’ never-ending service to others, especially through raising money for those impacted by disasters. He discussed times where she worked to assist victims during Hurricane Harvey, the fires in the Texas Panhandle and the spring storms in Bellville.
Dr. Coopersmith said Parks “embodies the true meaning of service” and “has consistently gone above to help those in need.”
Parks said this award is not just for her, but for everyone in the community.
