CUBS TAKE THREE OF FOUR AT MIKE SMITH CLASSIC

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team return to the court to take part in the Mike Smith Classic, which was being hosted by Victoria ISD.

The Cubs picked up two victories on Friday. They defeated King High School from Kingsville 72-44, and then followed that up with a 59-51 win over Victoria East.

Brenham would then split their games on Saturday. In the opener, the Cubs beat Seguin 57-38. However, they fell in their final tournament game to Pflugerville Connally 66-35.

Brenham is now 16-7 on the season. The Cubs will get back to district play on Friday when they travel to College Station for a game against A&M Consolidated at 6:30pm.
