WASHINGTON CO. MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION DONATES TO MT. PLEASANT MBC
The Washington County Ministerial Association (WCMA) recently presented a donation to Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (MBC).
The proceeds of $350 come from the WCMA’s county-wide Thanksgiving service. Accepting the donation was Mt. Pleasant MBC Pastor Terrance Michael Phillips, who delivered the Thanksgiving message.
The church caught fire in July and completely burned to the ground.
Pastor Phillips says the church is very grateful for all of the love and support shown. He adds that as of now, they are completing the groundwork for the rebuilding of the church.
Anyone interested in donating can contact Pastor Phillips at 979-525-3769.
The WCMA was founded in 1963 by Lutheran Pastor Richard Weber and Mt. Rose MBC Pastor James Dennis Sr. The association helped found nonprofits including Bread Partners, Faith Mission and Habitat for Humanity.
All pastors and ministers are welcome to the WCMA’s monthly meeting the fourth Thursday of every month at the Cannery Kitchen.
