CITIZENS STATE BANK TO CELEBRATE 100TH ANNIVERSARY WITH CUSTOMER APPRECIATION EVENTS BEGINNING FRIDAY IN BURTON

  

Citizens State Bank marks 100 years of community banking in 2025.

The bank was established in 1925 in Somerville and has grown to seven locations in Burleson, Washington and Grimes counties. 

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the bank has several customer appreciation events planned this year, starting on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Burton branch at 515 North Main Street.

A coffee truck will provide free coffee from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., and breakfast items will be served.  There will also be a light lunch and refreshments available, and snacks will be offered all day.  In addition, guests can take part in giveaways and win prizes.

Future events at other branches are currently scheduled for January 31st in Navasota, February 28th in Brenham, April 4th in Snook, April 25th in Caldwell and May 9th in Deanville.  The centennial celebration will culminate on June 6th with a block party at the Somerville location.
