CUBETTES FALL TO RUDDER 81-49 ON THE ROAD

It was a rough night on the road for the Brenham Cubettes as they lost to Bryan Rudder 81-49 on Tuesday.

Rudder outscored Brenham 24-11 in the first quarter, and 17-11 in the second quarter. That gave them a 41-22 lead at half time.

The Rangers then outscored the Cubettes 22-11 in the third quarter and 18-16 in the fourth quarter.

Ja’laya Pettus and Janiyah Mathis led Brenham with nine points each. Antyiahna Lang finished with eight points.

Next up, the Cubettes will host Lake Creek on Friday night at 6:30pm at the Brenham High School Gym. KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6:15pm.
