HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED ON THEFT WARRANT
A Hempstead man was arrested in Washington County on Tuesday on an out-of-county theft warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 6:45 a.m., Corporal Eric Crosby initiated a traffic stop at Highway 290 East and Wonder Hill Road for a vehicle failing to dim headlights.
The driver, 22-year-old Devontrae Deques Ramirez, showed to have an active arrest warrant for Theft of Property out of Fort Bend County.
Ramirez was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
