BLINN PLACES THREE TEAMS IN TOP 10 AT GRISWOLD LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST
Three Blinn College livestock judging teams placed in the top 10 at the recent Griswold Cattle Classic in Stillwater, Okla.
Blinn teams placed third (2,189 points), fifth (2,172 points), and ninth (2,135 points).
Blinn also had five livestock judging team members who placed in the top 20 individually.
Lane Hogan was seventh (458 points), Paige Zimprich 11th (453 points), Luke Domingue 14th (450 points), Jhett West 15th (449 points), and Weston Hendrix was 19th (447 points).
Blinn is ranked sixth among community colleges in LivestockJudging.com’s national rankings for the 2024-25 school year, compiling a 1.285 rating.
The livestock judging team is part of Blinn’s Agricultural Sciences Program, which has one of the most active extracurricular programs in the state, including livestock judging, the Agriculture Club, wildlife, agriculture mechanics, and horticulture.
