BRENHAM POLICE ARREST FOUR OVER WEEKEND ON CHARGES INCLUDING THEFT, ASSAULT
Four people were arrested by Brenham police over the weekend on various charges.
Around 7:45 a.m. Friday, Officer Ramon Torres was dispatched to the 700 block of Pleasant View Avenue in reference to a disturbance. After conducting an investigation, police found that 26-year-old Dharry Klinern Bailey of Sealy had allegedly assaulted a family member. Bailey was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Just before 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Officer Danielle Corrado stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Medical Parkway. The driver, 32-year-old Cesar Ibarra Carranza of Somerville, was found to have a warrant out of Hays County. Carranza was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail.
On Sunday, approaching 9:30 a.m., Officer Corrado responded to a suspicious person call in the 500 block of Medical Parkway. Police investigation determined that multiple businesses were stolen from. 33-year-old Eduardo Hernandez of Brenham was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he has been charged with Theft of Property $100 - $750 and Theft of Property Less than $100.
Nearing 11:45 p.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha responded to the 800 block of West Wilkins Street. Police say the driver, 23-year-old Leodan Camacena Morales of Brenham, was intoxicated and had damaged his vehicle backing into an open property. He was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated With an Open Alcohol Container.
