LIFETIME LEARNING TO ANNOUNCE BOOK SELECTION FOR WASHINGTON CO. READ JAN. 27

  

Lifetime Learning Brenham will soon reveal its selection for the 2025 Washington County READ.

The announcement will be made at a ribbon cutting on Monday, January 27^th at 1 p.m. at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

Each year, Lifetime Learning chooses a book for the community through the Washington County READ, which promotes literacy by encouraging book groups, service organizations, friends and families to read the selected book. 

Activities culminate at the annual READ reception with refreshments, a dramatic reading, author talk and book signing.  This year’s community reception will be held on October 7^th at 5:15 p.m. at Unity Theatre.  No registration is needed.
