BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO MONDAY
Brenham police reported two arrests on Monday.
Around 9:45 p.m., Corporal Tina Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Highway 290 West. 40-year-old Jose De-Jesus Ramirez-Garcia of Brenham was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Washington County for Failure to Comply with Duties Upon Striking a Fixed Object Over $200. Ramirez-Garcia was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in and released to jail staff.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., Officer Garrett Downs was dispatched to the 2200 block of South Market Street for a report of a complaint. Investigation revealed that the subject, identified as 58-year-old Aldonia Johnson of Brenham, was given a criminal trespass warning for the location. Police say Johnson refused to leave, so she was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.
