HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: BRENHAM BOYS AND BURTON GIRLS WIN

The Brenham Boys defeated the Burton Panthers 15-0 while the Burton Girls defeated the Brenham girls by a score of 10.5-4.5.
On the boys side, Brenham sophomore Wyatt Janner led all bowlers with games of 167 and 170 for a two game total of 337. Wyatt's brother Reid was second with a two game total of 313. The Cubs were steady in their Baker games rolling a 155-176-123 for a three game total of 454. Cadeyn Manley paced the Panthers with a high game of 127.
For the girls, Burton Panthers Camryn Douglas and Elizabeth Dorantes won their matches. The outcome was far from over when the girls entered the Baker games, but Burton won 2 of 3 from Brenham to seal the victory. Brenham Sophomore Colleen Cole won her match and had the high series for the girls with games of 113 and 132. Senior Reese Johnson also won her match.
The Brenham boys sit at 2-0 in the Bluebonnet District while the Brenham and Burton girls are both tied at 1-1. Matches will run through February.
