CUB SOCCER LOSES A TOUGH ONE TO ELGIN 3-1

The Brenham Cub Soccer Team fell to Elgin 3-1 in their final non-district game on Tuesday night.

Head Coach Craig Boggan told KWHI that it was a frustrating loss, because the Cubs had possession of the ball on Elgin's half of the field for most of the game.

Brenham had only one goal by Chris Calix.

Meanwhile, Elgin managed only a handful of shots. Two of their goals came on penalty kicks.

The Cubs are scheduled to return to action next Tuesday, January 21, when they host College Station at Cub Stadium. The JV is scheduled to start at 5pm, and the Varsity will follow at 7pm.
