JOINT EVENTS COMING TO LA GRANGE THIS WEEKEND

  

The Texas Blacksmithing Exposition and the Texas Antique Gas Engine Reunion are coming to Fayette County this weekend.

The events will be held at the Texas Czech Heritage Center at 250 West Fairgrounds Road in La Grange.

They are scheduled to begin at noon on Friday and at 9am on Saturday.

There will be live demonstrations, along with exhibits, displays, and vendors.

The Annie Rost and Mike Stroup Band are going to provide live musical entertainment.

On Saturday, there will be a special live auction at 1pm featuring blacksmithing tools.

Proceeds from the Texas Blacksmithing Exposition and the Texas Antique Gas Engine Reunion go to benefit the construction of the TCHCC Blacksmith Shop.

The events are sponsored by the Aggie Blacksmithing Club, the South Texas Wheel Spinners and Crank Twisters, and the La Grange Main Street and Visitors Bureau.
