PIECE MAKERS MAKES DONATION TO BRENHAM PREGNANCY CENTER

Brenham Pregnancy Center has received a generous donation from Piece Makers, a ministry of Brenham’s First Baptist Church.

This month, the organization donated 30 handcrafted baby quilts and 50 “mommy bags” to support the families served by the center.

Piece Makers, which is celebrating its ten-year anniversary this March, is a group of 30 members who come together monthly to sew for worthy causes.

Their creative efforts extend beyond quilts and “mommy bags.” Other projects include comfort quilts for nursing homes, fleece bears for overseas missions, pillows for the pet adoption center, and items for Operation Christmas Child.

Their work is displayed in hospitals, nursing homes, and beyond, embodying their mission of spreading love and comfort through sewing.

Pregnancy Center Executive Director Katlyn Marburger said they are incredibly grateful to Sara Byman and the entire Piece Makers group for their commitment to making a difference in the community.

Brenham Pregnancy Center serves women and families across eight counties, providing resources, education, and compassionate care.

With the opening of a second location in Bryan next month, this donation will help meet the growing needs of families in Washington County and beyond.
