BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO OVER WEEKEND

  

Brenham police made two arrests over the weekend.

Shortly before 11:45 p.m. Friday, Sergeant Crystal Buckner conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Highway 105.  After police gathered information, the driver, 28-year-old Walter Thomas Jr. of Brenham, was placed into custody for an active warrant issued by Washington County Court at Law for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.  Thomas was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

At 8:45 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Park Street in reference to criminal mischief.  Police say their investigation revealed that 73-year-old Robert Hicks of Brenham had an active criminal trespass warning for the property.  Hicks was taken into custody without incident for Criminal Trespass and booked into the Washington County Jail.
