BURTON DROPS BOTH GAMES TO BREMOND

The Burton Basketball Teams had a rough night on the road last (Tuesday) night as they dropped both games of a doubleheader against Bremond.

Bremond defeated the Lady Panthers in the opener 60-35. The Lady Tigers outscored Burton 25-4 in the first quarter and never had to look back.

The Lady Panthers faired a little better in the second quarter, but they still got outscored 12-10 by Bremond.

In the second half, Bremond won the third quarter 16-9, while Burton won the fourth quarter 12-8.

Lexi Broesche led the Lady Panthers with 22 points.

Meanwhile, on the boys side, the Burton Panthers fell to Bremond 61-37.

Next up, the Panthers and Lady Panthers will face Mumford on Friday. The Girls play at 6:15pm, followed by the Boys at 7:30pm.
