CARBON MONOXIDE CALL EARLY WEDNESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department responded this (Wednesday) morning to a carbon monoxide alarm.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m., BFD members went out to a home in the 400 block of Shadow Oak Circle for a report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.

The fire department and City of Brenham Gas Department arrived on location to find nothing showing from the exterior.  Firefighters found a reading on the gas detector and discovered a leak on the stove.

The gas department turned the gas off to the stove, and the fire department returned to service.
