BRENHAM POLICE ARREST ONE ON AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WARRANTS, ANOTHER FOR FAMILY ASSAULT
Two Brenham women were arrested Wednesday night on assault charges.
Just past 8:30 p.m., Brenham police officers responded to the 1900 block of Northview Circle Drive in reference to a warrant service. 27-year-old Tamara Foster was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked in for her two active warrants of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Police say the warrants stem from an alleged incident on January 18th in the 800 block of Pleasant View Avenue, with the stated weapon being a Jeep SUV.
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., Sergeant Crystal Buckner was dispatched to the 300 block of Clayton Drive for a report of a physical disturbance. After police gathered information, they placed 38-year-old Christina Forhetz into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and an active warrant for No Driver’s License. Forhetz was taken to the Washington County Jail.
