BRIDGE REPLACEMENT TO BE DISCUSSED AT NEXT COMMISSIONERS MEETING
Bridge replacement will be among the topics of discussion at the next meeting of the Washington County Commissioners Court on Tuesday morning.
The Commissioners are going to discuss and possibly act upon the approval of a TxDOT Advanced Funding Agreement Resolution for replacement of two bridges.
The two bridges in question are located at Tigerpoint Road crossing Jackson Creek, and Caney Creek Road crossing Caney Creek.
According to the Agenda packet, projects like these usually have a cost split between 80% federal, 10% state, and 10% local governments.
Washington County is seeking use a provision in which the local portion of the split can be waived if the county does the work themselves.
Other agenda items include:
a formal notice from AT&T Communications Inc. for new service line installation along the county right of way of Old Independence Road, Ike Lane, and Lucy Lane in Precincts 1 and 3
a formal notice from Magnolia Oil and Gas Operating LLC for pipeline bore across the county right of way of Sandtown Road in Precinct Four
a subdivision variance request for a land division fronting Hauptstrasse Road and Indepence Street in Precinct Four
And the approval of the County Investment Policy renewal with no changes.
The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
