DPS INVESTIGATING FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH IN BURLESON COUNTY
DPS Troopers are investigating a traffic crash that resulted in the death of a College Station resident in Burleson County on Sunday night.
The collision occurred on Highway 21 just east of FM 60 in Caldwell around 10:15pm.
According to DPS Sgt. Justin Ruiz, a 2004 Buick La Crosse was going the wrong way traveling east in the westbound lanes of traffic, when it struck a 2024 Toyota Highlander head-on as it was traveling westbound.
The driver of the Buick La Crosse, 27-year-old Jadon White, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the Toyota Highlander, were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, with suspected serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is under a further investigation, and Sgt. Ruiz said that there is no other information available at this time.
