ESCHETE SHINES AS A&M SOFTBALL OPENS THEIR SEASON WITH TWO WINS
The Texas A&M Lady Aggies opened their regular season with a pair of wins at the Aggie Classic in College Station yesterday (Thursday).
In the opener, A&M beat Utah State 11-5. Sidne Peters got the win in the circle. The Lady Aggies got home runs from Mac Barbara, Mya Perez, and Allie Enright.
Former Brenham Cubette Kramer Eschete was 2-3 with a single and a two-run triple. She also made what may have already been the catch of the year in the first game.
Then in the second game, A&M defeated Purdue 10-2 in five innings. Eschete was 2-2 with a pair of singles and an RBI. Barbara added a two-run double, and Perez had a two-run single.
The Lady Aggies are back in action tonight (Friday) when they host Baylor at 7pm.
