BRENHAM ISD STUDENTS SHINE AT SA STOCK SHOW & RODEO BEEF SKILLATHON

  

Brenham ISD students put on a strong showing at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo’s Beef Skillathon.

The Skillathon is a knowledge-based competition where contestants from across the state are challenged with questions, skill stations, and an interview component encompassing various facets of the beef cattle industry.

Earning a spot to compete in the final round of the competition were Lonna Wunderlich and Calvin Wunderlich.

Lonna, a 5th grader at Brenham Middle School and a member of Washington County 4-H, was named as the overall champion in the junior age division.

Calvin, a junior at Brenham High School and a member of the Brenham FFA, placed 5th overall in the senior age division.

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo continues through February 23rd.
