Riders in the Sky, known as “America’s Favorite Cowboys”, will take the stage on Saturday, March 15th at 7 p.m.  The group carries the torch passed on by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry, with the goal of preserving the heritage of early Hollywood Western movies and music for new generations.

The Barnhill Center producer Sharon Brass says, “These wacky cowboys have delighted audiences for over four decades with their comedy and traditional Western music.”

Making up Riders in the Sky are Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul and Joey.  They are two-time winners of the Grammy Award and winners of seven Entertainer of the Year Awards, along with accolades from the Western Music Association, Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum, and Academy of Western Artists.  They have also performed for 35 years on the Grand Ole Opry and have released 40 albums.
