THREE CUBS MAKE BLUE BELL/TSWA ALL STATE TEAM

Three members of the 2024 Brenham Cub Football Team have been named to the Blue Bell/ Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team.

RB Jakoby Dixon earned First Team All-State Honors. Dixon is a 5-9, 205 lb, sophmore that carried the ball 249 times for 2,248 yards, and 32 touchdowns. He was also the unanimous choice for District MVP, and made the All-Brazos Valley First Team.

Meanwhile, OG Andre Mojica and LB Caleb Espinoza made Third Team All State. Mojica is a 5-10, 250 lb, junior. He made the All-Brazos First Team Offense, and was chosen as the District's Best Lineman.

Espinoza is a 6-0, 215 lb., junior. He led the Cubs in tackles this past season with 157. Espinoza was also a unanimous selection for the District's Defensive MVP, and made the All Brazos Valley Second Team Defense.

All three players helped the Brenham Cubs to an 11-2 record, which included an undefeated district championship in 2024.
