CUBS DOMINATE DAYTON 86-50 TO WIN BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

The nine-day layoff didn't effect the Brenham Cub Basketball Team last (Tuesday) night as they took care of business with a commanding 86-50 victory over the Dayton Broncos to win the Bi-District Championship.

Brenham outscored Dayton in each of the four quarters: 18-11, 25-11, 21-12, and 22-16.

Elijah Ferguson scored 15 of his game high 26 points in the first half as the Cubs took a 43-22 lead at halftime.

Issac Powell added 13 points, while Jayden Hebert finished with 12 points.

Chris Guidry and Quincy Adams chipped in with eight points each, while JaKobe Mathis had seven points.

Roderick Martin and Trelyn Kelly came off the bench with six points each.

Next up, the Cubs will move on to the Area Round of the Playoffs where they will take on Port Arthur Memorial. The game is going to be Friday at 7pm at Humble High School.
