MINOR ACCIDENT AMONG TWO CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Tuesday.

Just after 6:30 a.m., units were dispatched to a crash at FM 389 and Highway 290.  There, they found a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.  BFD personnel provided traffic control and removed debris from the roadway.  Once both vehicles were removed, the department cleared the call.

Around 12:45 p.m., Brenham and Berlin firefighters responded to a possible structure fire at a home in the 5900 block of Hillside Lane.  They made location and found that a heater unit was causing a smell in the house.  The Berlin department released Brenham units from the scene.
