BLINN BOARD CANCELS TRUSTEE ELECTION AFTER THREE INCUMBENTS RUN UNOPPOSED

The Blinn Board of Trustees met briefly on Tuesday to adopt an order cancelling the May 3rd general election due to the three filing incumbents being unopposed.

No challengers filed for the three at-large seats held by Richard O’Malley, Jim Kolkhorst and Dennis Crowson, so they will be sworn in for a six-year term at Blinn’s May board meeting.

Kolkhorst and Crowson first joined the board in 2019.  O’Malley was appointed in September to serve out the remainder of Charles Moser’s term.  Moser retired from the board after having served since 2015.
