BOYS & GIRLS CLUB HOSTING ‘WISH UPON A STAR’ FUNDRAISING GALA APRIL 24

  

Tickets are now available for the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County’s fundraising gala. 

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 24^th at 6 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club, located at 1710 East Tom Green Street in Brenham.  The theme is “Wish Upon a Star”.

Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner with wine and beer pairings.  The event will also include live and silent auctions, an art exhibit created by club members, and a walking tour of the facility.

Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Shawn Koonce says the gala will allow the club to directly showcase the impact of its programs and its facility needs.  Board President Pete Simpson says as the club celebrates its 30^th anniversary, this gala acts as a way to reflect on three decades of commitment to the youth of Washington County and help continue the club’s mission for the next 30 years and beyond. 

The Boys and Girls Club serves over 100 young people daily, providing programs focused on education, character development, leadership and health.  The gala aims to raise funds to support the club’s programs and ensure it can continue to be a resource for local youth.
